As a Mentorship Fellow, Faith explored the question: How can artwork be leveraged as a tool for engaging urban communities in pollinator awareness and conservation? As part of her mentorship, Faith created two downloadable “Bumblebee Life Cycle Coloring Pages”, one for Adults and one for Kids.

As a mentee in Creature Conserve’s first mentorship program, Faith also hosted Bee Theme Week and compiled our Bee Conservation resource page.

“My art practice is driven by a deep curiosity to learn and also to teach others through the artwork that I create. I grew up in Denver’s Capitol Hill, so my childhood was largely urban-focused. I did not understand or appreciate nature until later as an adult, when I had the opportunity to explore and study places such as botanic gardens, wildlife areas, and National Parks. These experiences helped to open my eyes to the beautiful complexities and inter-relationships within ecosystems. My goal is to make science and nature more accessible to everyone, and I believe artwork can be one of the most approachable ways of starting these conversations.”
