Workshop: Medicine and the Wildlife Trade

Description: This two-part workshop is designed to spark collaboration between visual artists and scientists/conservationists/researchers around the topic of the wildlife trade and its impact on biodiversity. Participants will work in groups to create art designed to make the problems caused by the wildlife trade more accessible, concrete, meaningful, and relevant to a wider audience. We also hope to inspire more art/sci collaboration so we can study this issue further - together - and design solutions that benefit all.
