Taught by artist Sofiya Shukhova and content creator Shiri Lev with invited experts. 

Description: This workshop is designed to ignite collaboration between visual artists and scientists around the topic of wildlife use in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). During this workshop, artists and scientists will be partnered together to create art designed to make the topic more accessible, concrete, meaningful, and relevant to a wider audience. We also hope these partnerships will inspire more art-sci collaborations so we can study this issue further - together.

The workshop instructors include artist Sofiya Shukhova, content creator Shiri Lev and guest experts Lixing Lao, Leslie Tsen and Truong Tran. Together, they will explore the use of wildlife in medicine through art-sci collaborations. From there, art-sci groups will explore new ways to convey this understanding.

For artists and scientists interested in working together to both understand the reasons for the wildlife trade and its damaging effect on biodiversity, and to design solutions.
