Join us at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, Wyoming for a Mix'd Media Event. We are celebrating the Iridescence: John Gould’s Hummingbirds exhibition. Guests can create their own bird origami and pressed flower artwork. Guests can also enjoy quick, dynamic hack tours of Wildlife Trade Art & Science led by zoo and wildlife veterinarian, conservationist, and professor Dr. Lucy Spelman. Find out what it's like to work up close and personal with some of the world's most endangered animals--chimpanzees, elephants, lions, macaws, tigers, turtles, parrots, pangolins, rhinos, and sharks--and what we can all do to help protect them.
Wildlife Trade Art & Science, presented by Creature Conserve, features work by artists studying the impact of global trade on endangered species. “Science provides the road map for conservation; art motivates us to follow it.”
